PEACOCKS. A dance

Welcome to Adobe Books, the home of a group of young birds. This space is their home. Throughout the course of the performance feel free to come in and go out as you see fit; move about, look & walk through the aisles; even climb the ladders if so inclined (except during the song*). The peacock women also walk through, exploring the books & reading out passages or phrases to fellow bookstore wanderers, or to themselves. The peacocks do not overtly view the audience participants (except when safely perched on the ladders), so do not be alarmed and feel free to give them room in their meanderings through the space.

*the song is a collection of phrases found and compiled directly from books in the store. All peacocks know this song, it is the song of their habitat, though they may or may not sing it.
