Apple Pencil for iPad Pro
Apple recently introduced Apple Pencil for iPad Pro alongside with the iPad Pro and Apple’s new Smart Keyboard. Apple Pencil is a precision input device allowing users to draw and sketch on their iPad Pro.
Apple Pencil Pricing and Availability
Apple Pencil will be for $99 price tag and will be available for purchase in November alongside the new Smart Keyboard.
Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing, said “The innovative Apple Pencil and new Smart Keyboard enable users to customize their iPad Pro experience to the particular apps they use and the work they do, making iPad Pro ideal for everything from professional productivity to advanced 3D design.”
With the Apple Pencil, users will be able to press lightly to get a thinner stroke. Users can also press harder to get a darker, bolder stroke. The pencil will allow users to get an accurate sketch and detailed 3D design. It also works with popular apps like Mail, Notes, Procreate and Office 365 for iPad.
Apple Pencil can annotate documents. The company invited Microsoft on stage to demo Microsoft Office, and showed that the Pencil can be used to circle items in documents, and draw shapes on PowerPoint slides that are directly converted to graphic objects.
According to Apple website, the Apple Pencil has a built-in rechargeable battery that lasts up to 12 hours on a single charge. The pencil can also gain 30 minutes of battery life from just 15 seconds of charging.
How to charge the Apple Pencil?
It is easy to charge the Apple Pencil , simply uses the male Lightning connector and plugged into the iPad Pro to charge.
