Samsung KNOX at Galaxy S6 Series – Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge are now official. Both handsets were announced at MWC Barcelona, Spain, on March 1st, 2015. The company has enhanced the security of its new handsets with three powerful security solutions: KNOX, a fingerprint scanner, and temporarily generated card information, providing enhanced security through virtual encoding.
Samsung KNOX at Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge
Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge are both built on the upgraded Samsung KNOX, end-to-end secure mobile platform. Samsung KNOX offers defense-grade features for real-time protection from potential malicious attacks.
Knox is the company’s own business security solutions. VP Samsung Knox, Gregory Wade, claimed that it offered the “best security on market” and would work out of the box by integrating with a much wider range of MDMs.
Both Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge are also ready for immediate enterprise adoption, with market leading MDMs and KNOX enhancements enabled at launch. The handsets also have Find My Mobile feature. This feature secures lost devices and protects personal information through a number of services. While fingerprint scanner will help users to provide quick authentication and saves encrypted data in secure device storage.
Samsung Galaxy S6 will be available in White Pearl, Black Sapphire, Gold Platinum, Blue Topaz. While the Galaxy S6 edge will be available in White Pearl, Black Sapphire, Gold Platinum, and Green Emerald. Both handsets will arrive globally starting from April 10, 2015 with 32/64/128GB storage options.
