Sony officially announces the Sony Xperia Z4 in a press release. Now we get the detail specs of the Xperia Z4. The phone will have 5.2-inch FHD screen with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 and a metal frame. It will be powered by a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 810. 3GB of RAM is inside along with 32GB of native storage.

Sony Xperia Z4 specs includes a 20.7MP camera on back, 2930mAh battery and Android 5.0 is pre-installed. phone will also be equipped with a 5.1MP camera on front for selfies and video chats. The Xperia Z4 will also have IP6 certified for dust and IP5 and IP8 certified for water meaning it is protected against “Water projected by a nozzle (6.3 mm) against enclosure from any direction.”

The Sony Xperia Z4 will be 6.9mm thin, 144 grams weight, and features a metal frame. The phone will be available in White, Black, Copper and Aqua Green.

Sony Xperia Z4 specification is expected to have premium materials and hardware just like the other Xperia Z series. The handset is predicted to be waterproof just like the Z3. The handset is said to have thinner top, bottom bezels, and more rounded corners.

The Xperia Z4 seems to features a glass and aluminium housing, and will be at least as powerful as the Z3. The leaked images of Sony Xperia Z4 show a 5.2-inch QHD display, along with 3 GB RAM, a Snapdragon 805 processor. The Z4 is also said to be powered with Android 5.0 Lollipop. But this information is not official yet and we will bering you more update about the specs of the handset soon.

Sony Xperia Z4 specification will have a dedicated amp for better music sound, and will be completed with a 20.7Mp camera, Exmor RS CMOS image sensor, LTE Cat 6 and Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity.

While Sony Xperia Z3 is available for pre-order in the UK for 549 GBP off-contract, we can expect that the Xperia Z4 specs will have almost same price range. The Z4 is predicted to be available on stores on April to May 2015.
